Public Relations Officer
Joshua Lin

Josh graduated in 2010 from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business with a concentration in corporate strategy and marketing. During his Junior year in Nexecon, Josh acted as a Project Manager for a client project focused in taking intellectual property into new markets. In the Summer of 2009, Josh set out with Co-Founder Mark De Avila to take the Nexecon Consulting Group model and operate as a for-profit company. Managing to secure three different projects for the summer, Josh developed his skill sets in financial modeling, market research, and small to mid-size business development. After working in Chicago for a year, he has moved back to his hometown of Atlanta, GA working with IBM Global Business Services.

 


Client Relations Officer
Mark De Avila

Since co-founding NCG in September 2008, Mark has served as Client Relations Officer and Project Manager on projects revolving around life sciences management strategy and restaurant inventory operations. Co-developing a NCG for-profit model in the summer of 2009, he helped to secure three clients, focusing on mid-size business development and marketing strategy. Working with business leaders, Mark seeks to establish a relationship and clearly identify where NCG may help to identify business solutions. Previously, he interned with Alerion Capital Group, LLC in Scottsdale, Arizona as a research analyst. This work had him follow private equity and venture capital activity in the western United States. Mark is from Chicago he graduated in 2010 from the College of Literature, Science, & the Arts at the University of Michigan with a concentration in political science. Mark currently lives in Chicago and is a part of the Strategic Consulting team at Jones Lang LaSalle.

 


Operations Officer
Dean Fefopoulos

During his time at the University of Michigan, Dean has played trumpet in the Jazz Band, served as president of the Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, and helped co-found the Nexecon Consulting Group. In the past, Dean has been closely involved with his family’s restaurant and food distribution businesses, and he spent a summer working in commercial real estate in Manhattan. Dean graduated from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business in 2010 with a Finance emphasis. He now works in Chicago.

 


Web Developer
Adam Kinney

Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Adam helped co-found Nexecon and served as the webmaster to develop NCG’s online platform. During the summer of 2009, Adam worked as a consultant for a local biotech startup company, performing industry and market analyses for a novel membrane filtration technology. Adam continues to provide freelance web design for companies and works as an IT/Computer consultant for the Ford School of Public Policy. In summer 2010, Adam interned in Accenture’s Chicago office, working for a major residential energy supplier within the Systems Integration Consulting Group
Adam has since graduated in 2011 and is currently working full-time in Chicago for Accenture.

 


Internal Development Officer
Nadia Viswanath

Nadia graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business with a concentration on strategy and a minor in International Economic Development. Her dedication and involvement in extracurricular activities on campus included group dialogue work, Middle Eastern politics and, of course, consulting projects! While in college, Nadia interned for Goldman Sachs in operations in New York City. She currently lives in Chicago and works for McKinsey & Company.

 


Talent Director
Agustina De Majo

Agustina graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, with concentrations in Accounting and Finance. In summer 2009, she worked for Ernst & Young, LLP and has gained experience in financial statement analysis and State and Local Tax Law. As an active member of the local community, she has served as a volunteer at Mott Children’s Hospital, the Ronald McDonald House, the Huron Valley Humane Society, and the local Head Start. She has worked alongside small business owners to improve operations and reduce inefficiencies in their establishments, particularly in the area of employee payroll. Agustina currently works for Ernst and Young in Detroit. As an Ann Arbor local, Agustina is committed to staying active in the Ann Arbor community.

 


Senior Consultant & Advisor
Taarif (Tim) Jafferi

Taarif graduated with a Master’s degree from the department of Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan. He has long been passionate about strategy and operations consulting and his recent internship at Deloitte Thailand has taken him one step closer towards that goal. While there, he delved into the healthcare, real estate, fast food, and beverage industry. Taarif completed his undergraduate degree at Northwestern University where he was founder of a Table Tennis Club. Within 2 years, he led the club to the Nationals Tournament where they are now ranked top 15 in the country. Taarif graduated in December 2009 with a Master’s in Industrial and Operations Engineering and now works at A.T. Kearney’s South East Asia unit.
