  • Accountability: NCG is comprised of individuals who are dedicated working with local business and organizations to solve their real problems, especially in this economic climate–involvement with NCG is not a simple resume builder as it takes a significant pledge of time and effort, for which you must be accountable.
  • Diverse career interests: NCG is not just for people interested in consulting. We welcome all background and career paths. In fact, many of our members are headed into various industries and professions, including finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, etc. Our diversity in this aspect is a great strength.
  • Team Player: One capability that is crucial to our success if your ability to be a team player. The nature of our work can involve difficult, abstract problems, and these issues can only be solved with a cohesive team that is capable of examining solutions from every angle–even if you initially disagree.
  • Self-Starter: Instead of approaching each project with a precedent, NCG views each new engagement as a unique learning experience. While we use past cases and a training deck as references, we encourage individualism in the pursuit of solutions. This creates a membership that takes initiative rather than waiting for direction every step of the way. NCG seeks to continue our tradition of recruiting individuals that exhibit initiative and embrace challenges.
